1952 · Salt Lake City Floods

Age 1

During the first week of May, more than 45 families were displaced from their homes as the flood waters began to engulf the surrounding area. Many were saved by rafts and the water caused millions of dollars in damages with thousands of acres of farmland deemed unusable.
1955 · The Civil Rights Movement Begins
