He immigrated to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1909 and lived in Cowley, Big Horn, Wyoming, United States for about 10 years. He died on 14 January 1965, in Lovell, Big Horn, Wyoming, United States, at the age of 83, and was buried in Cowley, Big Horn, Wyoming, United States.
