She married Joseph Smith Black on 14 February 1861, in Endowment House, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 8 daughters. She immigrated to New Orleans, Orleans, Louisiana, United States in 1854 and lived in Ephraim, Sanpete, Utah, United States in 1860 and Kanosh, Millard, Utah, United States in 1870. She died on 2 November 1919, in Deseret, Millard, Utah, United States, at the age of 76, and was buried in Deseret City Cemetery, Deseret, Millard, Utah, United States.
