He married Esther Ann Collett on 14 January 1874, in Oneida, Idaho, United States. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 5 daughters. He lived in Farmington, Davis, Utah, United States in 1860 and Utah, United States in 1870. He died on 12 November 1912, in Franklin, Greenlee, Arizona, United States, at the age of 59, and was buried in Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, Greenlee, Arizona, United States.
