When Henry Chariton Jacobs was born on 26 August 1901, in Magrath, Cardston County, Alberta, Canada, his father, Zebulon William Jacobs Sr, was 23 and his mother, Dora Maria Hinman, was 20. He married Thelma Burnham on 14 July 1930. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. He immigrated to Sweet Grass, Montana, United States in 1937 and lived in Alberta, Canada for about 10 years and World for about 15 years. He died on 15 November 1981, in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, at the age of 80, and was buried in Archmount Cemetery, Lethbridge County, Alberta, Canada.
