When Sidney H. Little Allred was born on 6 February 1841, in Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois, United States, his father, Isaac Allred, was 27 and his mother, Julia Ann Taylor, was 24. He married Sarah Jane Ivie on 1 February 1861, in Mount Pleasant, Sanpete, Utah, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 4 daughters. He lived in Spring City, Sanpete, Utah, United States in 1870 and Lewisville, Fremont, Idaho, United States in 1900. He died on 25 May 1917, in Boise, Ada, Idaho, United States, at the age of 76, and was buried in Morris Hill Cemetery, Boise, Ada, Idaho, United States.
