He lived in Ejstrup, Vrads, Skanderborg, Denmark in 1840 and Clawson, Emery, Utah, United States in 1910. He died on 3 December 1925, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, at the age of 89, and was buried in Wellington City Cemetery, Wellington, Carbon, Utah, United States.
