When Maja Stina Salomonsdotter was born on 30 September 1783, in Östergötland, Sweden, her father, Salomon Salomonsson, was 47 and her mother, Brigitta Mansdotter, was 40. She married Olof Wahlqvist on 29 August 1808, in Björsäter, Östergötland, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 5 daughters. She died in July 1857, at the age of 73.
