    1819 · Panic! of 1819

    With the Aftermath of the Napoleonic Wars the global market for trade was down. During this time, America had its first financial crisis and it lasted for only two years. 

    1834 · Vermont Anti-Slavery Society is Formed

    Age 19

    The Anti-Slavery Society of Vermont was established in 1834. 100 people from different towns were at the first meeting, with the intent to abolish slavery. 

    1836 · Remember the Alamo

    Age 21

    Being a monumental event in the Texas Revolution, The Battle of the Alamo was a thirteen-day battle at the Alamo Mission near San Antonio. In the early morning of the final battle, the Mexican Army advanced on the Alamo. Quickly being overrun, the Texian Soldiers quickly withdrew inside the building. The battle has often been overshadowed by events from the Mexican–American War, But the Alamo gradually became known as a national battle site and later named an official Texas State Shrine.

    History: Samuel Wilbur (c. 1585–1656), also known as Wilbore and Wildbore, is recorded in Boston, MA, before 1633 and purchased Boston Common in 1634. He and other religious exiles from MA purchased and settled Aquidneck Island (now RI) in 1637.
