Brief Life History of Catalina
When Catalina Bacaicoa y Zaldias was christened on 15 August 1650, in Etxarri Aranatz, Nafarroa, Spain, her father, Joanes Bacaicoa y Galbar, was 30 and her mother, María Zaldias y Joango, was 26. She married Juan Jaca y Miguel de Echarri on 3 November 1671, in Etxarri Aranatz, Nafarroa, Spain. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 2 June 1712, in her hometown, at the age of 61.
