Frances Burchill was born in 1799, in Kilbrogan, County Cork, Ireland as the daughter of Samuel Burchill and unknown. She married Edward Hornibrook on 22 August 1820, in Kilbrogan, County Cork, Ireland. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 6 daughters. She died on 8 March 1870, in Merrickville, Merrickville-Wolford, Leeds and Grenville, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 71, and was buried in Union Cemetery, Merrickville, Merrickville-Wolford, Leeds and Grenville, Ontario, Canada.
