When Jesse B. McCrocklin was born on 11 January 1807, in Shelby, Kentucky, United States, his father, William McCrocklin, was 23 and his mother, Eleanor "Nellie" Beard, was 21. He married Marg E Hopewell on 14 March 1844, in Nelson, Kentucky, United States. He died in 1853, at the age of 46.
