When Margarete Vodin was born on 28 December 1706, in Cleebronn, Brackenheim, Württemberg, Germany, her father, Hans Michael Vodi, was 41 and her mother, Margarete Ermesser, was 35. She married Hans Martin Walderich on 6 June 1730. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 4 March 1796, in her hometown, at the age of 89.
