When Lave Hansson was born about 1740, in Brösarp, Albo, Kristianstad, Sweden, his father, Hans Lafvesson, was 30 and his mother, Agnes Persdotter Rehn, was 33. He married Elna Olsdotter on 1 November 1778, in Hörröd, Skåne, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. He died on 20 May 1792, in his hometown, at the age of 53, and was buried in Brösarp, Albo, Kristianstad, Sweden.
