Name Meaning

1 English: unexplained; perhaps a variant of Pink .2 Chinese 平: there are two sources of this name, which also means ‘peace’. One is the name of a senior minister of the state of Qi during the Spring and Autumn period ( 722–481 bc ), who was posthumously named Yan Pingzhong. The other source is a city called Ping in the state of Han during the Warring States period ( 403–221 bc ). It was granted to a marquis whose descendants adopted the place name as their surname.
