When David Wallace Sr was born on 10 June 1800, in Iroquois, Matilda Township, Dundas, Upper Canada, British North America, his father, John Walliser, was 38 and his mother, Catharine Christina Fell, was 24. He married Lydia Ann Hitchcock on 25 December 1821, in Matilda Township, Dundas, Upper Canada, British North America. They were the parents of at least 10 sons and 2 daughters. He died on 3 November 1881, in Lone Rock, Richland, Wisconsin, United States, at the age of 81, and was buried in Button Cemetery, Buena Vista, Richland, Wisconsin, United States.

France sells Louisiana territories to U.S.A.

1803 · The U.S doubles in size

The United States purchased all the Louisiana territory (828,000 sq. mi) from France, only paying 15 million dollars (A quarter trillion today) for the land. In the purchase, the US obtained the land that makes up 15 US states and 2 Canadian Provinces. The United States originally wanted to purchase of New Orleans and the lands located on the coast around it, but quickly accepted the bargain that Napoleon Bonaparte offered.

1825 · The Crimes Act

The Crimes Act was made to provide a clearer punishment of certain crimes against the United States. Part of it includes: Changing the maximum sentence of imprisonment to be increased from seven to ten years and changing the maximum fine from $5,000 to $10,000.
