When Daniel Levi Coddington was born on 29 August 1868, in Wyreka, Putnam, Missouri, United States, his father, George Howard Coddington, was 25 and his mother, Jemima Morris, was 22. He married Annie Collins on 6 October 1890, in Trenton, Grundy, Missouri, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 3 daughters. He lived in Walton Township, Rooks, Kansas, United States for about 10 years and Fairview Township, Rooks, Kansas, United States in 1930. He died on 9 August 1961, in Plainville, Rooks, Kansas, United States, at the age of 92, and was buried in Pleasantview Cemetery, Palco, Rooks, Kansas, United States.
