When Aparicio Rendon Suarez was born on 12 January 1855, in Santa Rosa de Osos, Antioquia, Colombia, his father, Jose María Rendón Jaramillo, was 27 and his mother, Maria Custodia Suarez Cuartas, was 29. He married Maria de los Dolores Arellano Botero in 1889, in Calarcá, Quindío, Colombia. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 7 daughters. He died about 1928, in La Ceja, Antioquia, Colombia, at the age of 74.
