When Mariana da Conceicao was born about 1878, in Brazil, her father, Manoel Elias da Cruz, was 28 and her mother, Rita Maria da Encarnação, was 24. She married Manoel Alves Pedro Moco about 1895, in Brazil. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 6 daughters. She died on 2 July 1944, in Campos dos Goytacazes, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the age of 67.
