When Marie Gonnet was born on 27 February 1772, in Villar Pellice, Turin, Piedmont, Italy, her father, Etienne Gonnet, was 24 and her mother, Susanne Berton Caville, was 26. She married Jean Geymonat on 3 May 1796, in Villar Pellice, Turin, Piedmont, Italy. They were the parents of at least 2 daughters. She died on 21 January 1850, in her hometown, at the age of 77.
