When Maria Magdalena Schifferle Luchsinger was born in 1895, in Traiguén, Malleco, Chile, her father, Juan German Schifferle Begnke, was 33 and her mother, Magdalena Luchsinger Marti, was 31. She married Cesario Morales Contreras in 1916, in Lautaro, La Araucanía, Chile. She died in 1974, in her hometown, at the age of 79.
