When Betsabe Rendon Arellano was born in 1899, in Santa Rosa de Cabal, Risaralda, Colombia, her father, Aparicio Rendon Suarez, was 44 and her mother, Maria de los Dolores Arellano Botero, was 40. She married Ricardo Correa Ospina in 1920. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. She died in 1985, in Bogotá D. C., Cundinamarca, Colombia, at the age of 86.
