When Sina Laulii Sefesi was born on 23 June 1913, in Hihifo, Ha'apai, Tonga, her father, Finau Sefesi Folaumotui, was 22 and her mother, Ana Tonga Folaumoetui, was 15. She married Kelepi Sisi Toutai about 1935, in Pangai, Ha'apai, Tonga. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 4 daughters. She died on 24 February 1952, in her hometown, at the age of 38.
