When Mark Anthony Perkins Dr was born on 3 June 1835, in Wayne, North Carolina, United States, his father, Nathan Perkins, was 20 and his mother, Penelope Lewis, was 20. He married Elizabeth B. (Eliza) Cox in Indiana, United States. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 1 daughter. He lived in Upper Township, Richland, South Carolina, United States in 1880 and Hastings, Adams, Nebraska, United States in 1900. He died on 26 December 1879, at the age of 44.
Being a monumental event in the Texas Revolution, The Battle of the Alamo was a thirteen-day battle at the Alamo Mission near San Antonio. In the early morning of the final battle, the Mexican Army advanced on the Alamo. Quickly being overrun, the Texian Soldiers quickly withdrew inside the building.
