When Sidsel Friderichsdatter Holtzendorph was born on 16 August 1789, in Smidstrup, Koldinghus, Denmark, her father, Friderich Wilhelm Holtzendorph, was 43 and her mother, Maren Madsdatter Møller, was 41. She married Laurids Hansen Møller about 1814, in Denmark. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 6 daughters. She died on 10 April 1852, in her hometown, at the age of 62, and was buried in Smidstrup, Koldinghus, Denmark.
