Brigetta Weider was born about 1540, in Görlitz, Silesia, Prussia, Germany as the daughter of Joachim Weider and Klara. She married Martin Gerlach on 11 February 1565. They were the parents of at least 3 sons. She died on 11 September 1572, in Görlitz, Kreis Oschatz, Saxony, Germany, at the age of 33.
