When Gus R. Dryden was born on 13 March 1886, his father, Henry Clay Dryden, was 29 and his mother, Sarah " Sadie" F. Stice, was 20. He married Lola Mantise Wolfe about 1917. He lived in Washington, Oregon, United States in 1935 and Peaceful Valley Election Precinct, Canyon, Idaho, United States in 1940. He died in January 1971, at the age of 84.
