When Maria Catharina Lutz was born on 3 February 1724, in Eschelbach, Sinsheim, Heidelberg, Baden, Germany, her father, Hans Jacob Lutz, was 31 and her mother, Maria Elisabeth, was 27. She married Johann Jacob Bender on 21 January 1749. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 2 daughters. She died on 15 July 1788, in her hometown, at the age of 64.
