When Eleanor Montfort was born in 1394, in Hornby, Yorkshire, England, her father, Thomas Montford, was 11 and her mother, Elizabeth Aske, was 11. She married John Wandesford of Kirklington in 1419, in Yorkshire, England. They were the parents of at least 9 sons and 4 daughters. She died on 2 September 1473, at the age of 79.
