She married Michael Shea on 26 June 1935, in Sacred Heart Parish, Jackson, Iowa, United States. They were the parents of at least 3 daughters. She lived in Lack, County Mayo, Ireland in 1911. She died on 13 August 1996, in San Francisco, California, United States, at the age of 90.
