(Logan stones are boulders so poised that they rock at a touch.) 2. less commonly, a habitational name from Buxton in Norfolk, which is named with the genitive case of the Old English personal name Bucc ( see Buck 1) + Old English tūn ‘settlement’, ‘enclosure’.
