George Irving was born on 10 April 1791, in Mouswald, Dumfriesshire, Scotland as the son of John Irving and Mary Rae. He married Sarah Graham on 23 March 1820, in Gretna Green, Dumfriesshire, Scotland, United Kingdom. They were the parents of at least 1 son. He died about 1828, at the age of 38.
