Caroline Wist was born on 15 March 1792, in Grandson, Vaud, Switzerland. She married Emile Henri Boisot on 27 April 1820, in Saint-Maurice, Champagne, Vaud, Switzerland. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 9 December 1863, in Switzerland, at the age of 71.
