When Pehu Teahi was born in 1845, in Piauí, Brazil, his father, Tagihia Tangihia TEAHI, was 33 and his mother, Tepori TUROINA, was 29. He married Gaki Tekuravehe on 6 April 1870, in Takapoto, French Polynesia. He died on 27 July 1870, in his hometown, at the age of 25.
