Maria Lorenza Linares Matute was born on 10 August 1885, in Yoro, Yoro, Honduras as the daughter of Eduviges Linares and Bonifacia Matute. She married Matias Hernandez about 1918, in Esparta, Atlántida, Honduras. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 4 daughters. She died about 1935, at the age of 51.
