When Abraham Gallatin was born about 1597, in Geneva, Geneva, Switzerland, his father, Aymé Gallatin, was 27 and his mother, Magdelaine Humbert, was 22. He married Susanne Chouet on 12 June 1631, in Geneva, Geneva, Switzerland. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 3 daughters. He died on 2 December 1659, in his hometown, at the age of 63.
