When Albert Pim was born on 9 February 1847, in Mountmellick, County Laois, Ireland, his father, Samuel Pim, was 44 and his mother, Susanna Bewley, was 37. He married Adelaide Eliza Pim on 28 October 1886, in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. He lived in Ireland in 1901. He died on 14 January 1932, in Mountmellick, Queen's County, Ireland, at the age of 84, and was buried in Rosenallis Burial Ground, Rosenallis, County Laois, Ireland.
