Kaspar Goldinger was born on 10 August 1801, in Thurgau, Switzerland as the son of Joseph Goldinger and Elisabeth Goldinger. He married Maria Joanna Goldinger on 7 January 1853, in Pfyn, Thurgau, Switzerland. He died on 21 April 1883, in his hometown, at the age of 81.
