He lived in Fox Township, Carroll, Ohio, United States in 1860 and Farmington Township, Cedar, Iowa, United States in 1870. He died on 21 September 1891, in Durant, Cedar, Iowa, United States, at the age of 83, and was buried in Durant, Cedar, Iowa, United States.
