They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 4 daughters. He lived in New Hampshire, United States in 1870 and Wheelock, Caledonia, Vermont, United States in 1880. He died on 6 January 1897, in McIndoe Falls, Barnet, Caledonia, Vermont, United States, at the age of 67, and was buried in Barnet, Caledonia, Vermont, United States.
