He lived in Brusk, Vejle, Denmark in 1860 and Fountain Green, Sanpete, Utah, United States for about 10 years. He died on 10 August 1907, in Castle Dale, Emery, Utah, United States, at the age of 91, and was buried in Castle Dale City Cemetery, Castle Dale, Emery, Utah, United States.
