Brief Life History of Soren

When Soren Hanson was born on 16 February 1816, in Gårslev, Børkop, Vejle, Denmark, his father, Hans Jakobsen "Markholt", was 38 and his mother, Anna Maria Lauritzdatter, was 35. He married Ane Marie Bendixdatter on 24 April 1852, in Gauerslund, Gauerslund, Holmans, Vejle, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 2 daughters. He lived in Brusk, Vejle, Denmark in 1860 and Fountain Green, Sanpete, Utah, United States for about 10 years. He died on 10 August 1907, in Castle Dale, Emery, Utah, United States, at the age of 91, and was buried in Castle Dale City Cemetery, Castle Dale, Emery, Utah, United States.
