He married Ane Catherine Michelsdatter on 2 November 1851, in Tårs, Børglum, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He immigrated to United States in 1857 and lived in Willard, Box Elder, Utah, United States in 1880. He died on 20 May 1899, in Mantua, Box Elder, Utah, United States, at the age of 71, and was buried in Mantua Cemetery, Mantua, Box Elder, Utah, United States.

1829 · Oldest Leather Goods in Denmark

Kuffert Sorensen was established in 1829 by Carl Peter Sorensen as a leather goods company. Today the business has five locations and each are run by a member of the Sorensen family.

1830 · The Second Great Awakening

Being a second spiritual and religious awakening, like the First Great Awakening, many Churches began to spring up from other denominations.
