Françoise De Châlus was born about 1734, in Chalus, Puy-de-Dôme, France as the daughter of Duc Jean Francois de Narbonne and ?. She married Roi Louis de Bourbon XV. They were the parents of at least 2 sons. She died on 7 July 1821, in Paris, France, at the age of 88, and was buried in Cimetière du Père-Lachaise, Paris, France.

1778 · Treaty of Alliance with American Colonies
After the battle of Saratoga France realized that America might be worth backing. They formed an alliance with the colonies and sent naval fleets to help with the war.
