He married Antonia Hernandez on 6 May 1911, in Valparaíso, Zacatecas, Mexico. They were the parents of at least 3 daughters. He immigrated to El Paso, El Paso, Texas, United States in 1918 and lived in Oxnard, Ventura, California, United States in 1920 and Montebello, Los Angeles, California, United States for about 10 years. He died on 26 April 1975, in Pomona, Los Angeles, California, United States, at the age of 89, and was buried in Montebello, Los Angeles, California, United States.
