He lived in Elizabethtown-Kitley Township, Leeds and Grenville, Ontario, Canada for about 10 years and Ontario, Canada in 1901. He died on 25 January 1910, in Augusta Township, Leeds and Grenville, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 73, and was buried in Elizabethtown-Kitley, Leeds and Grenville, Ontario, Canada.
