Jean d'Arquenay was born about 1300, in Brittany, France as the son of Pierre I d'Arquenay and de Mathefelon. He married Jeanne de Baubigné about 1320, in Brittany, France. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He died in 1389, in his hometown, at the age of 90.
