When Alfonsina Orsini was born in 1472, in Florence, Tuscany, Italy, her father, Conte Roberto Orsini Signore di Pacentro, Conte di Tagliacozzo e di Alba, Signore di Sant'Angelo, di San Polo e di San Gregorio, was 47 and her mother, Caterina Sanseverino, was 37. She married Piero De' Medici "Lo sfortunato" in March 1488. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 1 daughter. She died on 7 February 1520, in her hometown, at the age of 48, and was buried in Rome, Roma, Lazio, Italy.
