1915 · Zeppelin Raid

During WWI Zeppelin raids took place all over England. The first of the raids happened from June 6-7, 1915, in Hull, East Yorkshire, England. During the attack 24 people were killed 40 injured, and 40 houses destroyed.

1940

Winston Churchill becomes prime minister. British fighter pilots repel German air attacks in the Battle of Britain. London and other cities badly damaged in German bombing raids.
