William Collins was born in 1734, in Amelia, Virginia, United States as the son of James Collins and Pruitt. He married Mary Cason on 28 February 1741, in Spotsylvania, Virginia, United States. He died in 1781, in Pittsylvania, Virginia, United States, at the age of 47.
