When Niels Andersen was born in 1713, in Klejtrup, Viborg, Denmark, his father, Anders Nielsen, was 33 and his mother, Mette Jensdatter, was 26. He married Ane Nielsdatter. They were the parents of at least 4 sons. He died in October 1783, at the age of 70.
